Play God Day

Hallelujah, it’s Play God Day!

This day has a misleading title; don’t go out and try to create a new raise or tell someone to kill their son to see if they believe in you.

This means to be “God-like.” Be a great person and do something to make the world a little better. “God” and most deities are very good people and want us to show love and compassion towards our fellow man and woman, as well as the animals that live in this world with us.

Take this special day to do something good; extra good. You can do this by visiting an elderly home, giving, not just donating, old toys to kids who need them more than you do, or doing a clean-up on the side of a dirty road or park.

Every little bit of good someone does in this world really does help. Doing good things helps break away the chains of anger and disdain in this world. Everyone needs love and compassion from animals, to the homeless, to the very Earth we walk and live off of. Do as Gandhi says: “Be the change you want to see in this world.”

So open your heart, look towards your deity or beliefs that you hold close to your heart, and do some good today. And remember, have a great day.

Also, no picture today. I was busy with supper last night
