Feast of Fabulous Wild Men Day and National Pharmacist Day

When I saw that today was Feast of Fabulous Wild Men Day and National Pharmacist Day, the first thing that came to my mind was “Heart Attack Grill.”

The name of the first holiday kind of fooled me at first because I thought it referred to giving some fabulous wild men a great feast (thank goodness it didn’t.) What it means is for women (or men) to feast their eyes on some fabulous wild men that you like whether it’s your man or some movie/TV star you have a crush on…This would be the perfect opportunity to watch Johnny Depp or Pierce Brosnan (yes, I’ve got a thing for Pierce, so sue me.)

For National Pharmacist Day, this is the day to show a little love to your local pharmacist. It is their job and duty to inform you about the drugs you are getting and what they can and can’t do for you. Without their knowledge of medicine and science, people could die from taking the wrong kind of medicine or using two medicines that can kill them. So be sure to let your pharmacist how important they are to you and the people in this world. If you see a pharmacist, try wishing them well today and tell them they are doing a great job; they deserve some recognition.

Every single person in this world plays an important role in this world, whether they pick-up trash on the side of the road, they work as a body guard for the president, or if they are a student in a school. We all are important in this world whether we realize it or not. Show appreciation, respect, and compassion for anyone because they may be doing something amazing that we may not be aware of or may do something amazing one day.

So show some love, open your eyes and heart to the people around you, and have a great day.
